How to Upgrade a Cisco Nexus 5500


I’ll have setp by step instructions on what I did to get my Nexus 5ks upgraded to the latest suggested code as of this writing – Release 5.2(1)N1(7).

Save config in usb key :

Nexus# copy startup-config  usb1:N5K01-config.cfg

Additional info for this installation:

Remove QoS & ACL config on L3 interfaces and SVIs if any

Port: port-channel52 in VLAN0020 is Designated. Topology change could occur during ISSU.
Upgrade needs to be disruptive!!!
